Kayak Tours, Stackpole & Barafundle Bay

What to expect

Our expert guides will take you on a return journey from Stackpole Quay, past beautiful cliffs and rock formations, in and out of caves, to Barafundle Bay beach. This kayak tour is perfect for those who want to explore the great outdoors and discover the coastline from a whole new perspective. We can take complete beginners and equip you with all the skills needed to enjoy this tour. If you've kayaked before and want a bit more of a challenge, then we can provide that too! On arrival you will meet your guide and be fitted with your equipment. We will provide you with sit-on top kayak, paddle, helmet, buoyancy aid, dry bag (for your snacks and an extra layer of clothing), and waterproof cag (on cold or rainy days), or you are welcome to bring your own equipment provided it is in safe condition and seaworthy. If required, you can also hire a wetsuit from us for a small additional fee. After a short safety briefing, and basic instructions on how to use the equipment, we will get on the water. All our coastline kayak tours are run by a Paddle UK-qualified Sea Kayak Leader/Coach. You will need to bring clothing and footwear (likely to get wet), snacks and drinks - we will usually stop for a break on Barafundle Bay beach before the return journey. Children aged 14+ are welcome, and do not need to be accompanied by an adult. We also offer discounts for group and family bookings - please call us to arrange. Occasionally, due to weather conditions, we may need to change the location or starting point - if so we will contact you at least 24 hours before hand.
